speaking of friends

Brooke made her way over to Indra's office, hoping she'd be able to find her there. The demi-god's anxiety was beginning to grow as school would start to near and she could only turn to her friend. Besides, there were other things she needed to talk to her as well.

She knocked loudly three times on Indra's door, opening the door as she walked inside.

"Hey," she grinned, her voice wavering lightly. "I think I'm going to have a panic attack."

Indrazade was sat at her desk, with her feet upon it, doing the boring paperwork that the superintendent insisted that she did as soon as possible. She jumped slightly as she heard the knocks on the door, quickly sitting properly in case it was a student or something like that, but she was relieved to see that it was only her friend.

"Woah, Brooke, what's up?" she asked, putting the paper work to a side, glad to have an excuse to stop for a while.

"What if.. What if I'm not good enough for this teaching thing?" She began as she paced around Indra's office. "I mean, what if the kids hate me and I have to leave? I don't want to leave. It kind of has to do a little bit with the nice guy I met the other day but the village is nice and it certainly isn't as populated New York," she rambled on.

With a huge sigh, she took a seat in front of the table.

"You owe me big time for convincing me to leave my record label job to come teach a simple music class," she joked lightly. "But thanks though. I was starting to get tired of my boss."
