Dancing the Night Away

Candice had been dancing for a good three hours solid now, feeling her sides start to hurt, her throat becoming dry from singing too loud without any kind of drink. She probably needed to slow down and get something down her throat before she danced any longer.

As if moving her to a new school would stop her. Though admittedly she hadn't tried to set anything on fire yet, so maybe it had slowed her down a little.

Arriving at the bar with a wide smile on her face, she ordered her drink, turning to the person she'd moved to stand next to. "Hey, having fun?"

Artemis had been at the club with Rhea and Theo. But they were not around most likely drinking. Artemis had only come because he thought that he might get to see Megan again. It looked like that was never going to happen. And he knew that he had to move on with his life. It was only one night and that he should forget about it. And now started to get to know his new sister, Athena.

Though he hoped that some day he would meet a new girl. Someone that would replace Megan in his heart but he wasn’t going to go looking for it.

He then looked and see this girl standing next to him. It was someone that he really didn’t know and she looked younger than him. So that meant that they would be going to the same school. That is when he started to grin. “ Now I am having fun now that you are here.”

Well wasn't he a pretty little thing? And complimentary too, that was always a plus. She could see herself having a lark with him, at least a good dance. He looked like someone who could dance with her. Though she'd been wrong about that judgement before.

"Why thank you, kind fellow," she replied with a smile, resting her cheek on her palm, elbow on the counter. "I am rather entertaining, aren't I?"

She thanked the bartender briefly as he slid her drink in front of her, taking a sip before turning her attention back to the boy. "So, what's your name, handsome? Are you here with anyone?"

Artemis was telling him that he was going to enjoy the time with this girl. And he was going to forget everything about Megan because she didn’t want anything to do with him. He was sure that she could help him forgot. From the looks of it he could tell that she drank. That meant more bottles in his room.

“You are so very welcome.” He was still grinning as he looked at her. “Yes you are entertaining and I was just sitting here being bored.”

This girl was asking him for his name. “Artemis Capulet.” She then asked him if he was here with anybody. “ Oh I am sure that my brother found him some cute guy to hit on. And I am sure it is the same for my sister.”

Candice giggled, taking her drink and sipping it. "Bored? Well that just won't do. I'll make sure I'm very entertaining for you then," she glanced back at the dance floor, smirk on her lips. "How about a dance then, to make your night a little more interesting."

"Artemis, that's quite different. I don't think I've met anyone called Artemis before," it was always nice to meet new people.

"Aw, you're here with your brother and sister? That's so nice! Going out for drinks with your family, that must mean you're pretty close, huh?"

Artemis was watching this one and he knew that he wouldn’t let this one get away from him. “ Oh I would love it if you would entertain me.” He then watched as she asked if he wanted to dance. “ For you I would do anything for you.”

She then was telling him that his name was different. “ Yes my parents has a thing for Greek mythology. My twin also is named after a greek god.”

“ Yes my brother and sister thought it was what I need. A night at the club to help cheer me up and make me forget about this women that I meet her once. But yes I am close with my family.”

Candice loved it when she was made to feel like the centre of the universe. When people did things for her, and only her, she felt special. Like she could have everything if she wanted it. "Then dance you shall! Come on," she took his hand, dragging him in the direction of the dance floor. "Oh no wait, finish drink first," she lifted the glass, beginning to swallow the liquid.

When she was a little over half way she pulled back, breathing slightly heavily. "Few, this is hard."

"So does that mean you know a lot about Greek Mythology? Who's Artemis? I know, like, nothing about Greek Mythology."

A smirk tugged at the corners of Candice's lips at the mention of a woman. "A woman, huh? It's nice of them to bring you out to forget about her. Maybe I should help you, we'll have so much fun that there'll be no room to think about her!"

Artemis was going to enjoy this time with this women. Because it seemed that she was enjoy this too. All he wanted to do was make her feel like she was special. She had then grabbed his hand and was pulling him on the dance floor. But first she had to finish her drink.

He smiled at her he could tell that this was hard for her. But he was still going to dance with her anyways.

“ Yes I know a little about Greek Mythology. My parents must have loved it seeing as my twin is named after a god. But Artemis is actually a godness.”

He then watched as she was smirking when he mention a women. “ Yes they thought a night out would help me forget. But I wouldn’t mind if you wanted to help me forget about her too.”
