| With her A2 canvas in one tucked into her arm and her water colour paints held onto with her other hand, Kaylin reached the art class room with a barely visible smile on her face. Her emotions where all over the place and the only way she could work it out was by painting. She had never been extraordinary at painting, most of the time it had been a punch of water colours splurged together on the canvas. Her jeans had been rolled up to mid calf, showing off her worn out shoes as her usual art shirt has been covered by some oil paint. It had been three days since she had met her father and the sophomore wasn't feeling too great. She hadn't slept well, only four hours a night, before she would just stand up and head out. Placing the canvas on a stand, she began to get her supplies ready and with a brush she started to paint over the canvas with multiple shades of blue's and a few green. Halfway through, she decided to take a break and sat on a stool, trying to not look too closely so she wouldn't want to change another. She didn't know how to feel about it. Elated that she finally met her long lost father? Or detested that he had practically ignored her for the rest of her life? | |

| Sometimes, art could be an alright subject.
Other times, when the teacher gave you copious amounts of homework and you couldn't finish it in time and still go out at the weekend, it could suck. And Theo had a lot of homework, purely because he hadn't finished the last lot. Plus his folder was still in one of the studios, and he really needed to get it if he wanted to do anything.
Tripping over himself on the way there, he reached the studio and entered, humming to himself as he looked around for the wretched portfolio, until his eyes landed on someone else in the room. He stopped mid-hum, gave an apologetic smile and muttered a hasty "Hi, sorry!" before reaching for the portfolio which seemed to be near to where she was sitting.
"Hey, neat painting," he complimented. "Beats my stick figures round a blob." He shrugged, before grabbing the folder and frowning. "Um, are you alright? It's probably none of my business. You just look a bit dazed. Do you want a paracetemol?"

| She became startled by the intruder that had showed up out of nowhere. At least she thought so considering she didn't hear him until he greeted her when he wear near. Her skin grew goosebumps and the small hairs of her body stood - almost in a cat like way.
"Thanks," she quietly responded as she kept painting and didn't bother looking at him. Her shyness getting in the way as she used to her brush to get some more blue water paint.
Kay gave a one shoulder shrug as she stepped back from her painting with a slightly titled head, inspecting it.
"I'm fine," she lied, "But I don't know what a paracetamol is."

| So this girl was pretty quiet. Not that he'd really given her that much to answer to, but Theo gathered from this that he probably shouldn't pry. "No worries, I don't really know what they are either," he said with a grin, before shrugging. "They're painkillers that taste foul and I'm not sure they even work but they're my Gran's cure for everything. You're welcome to one if you want."
He wondered if he should go away. He had work to do and she probably didn't fancy his company but the fact that she didn't seem like she was a hundred per cent kind of made him want to stay longer to make sure she was okay. "Anyway, I can't remember if I've seen you around before. I'm Theo, by the way. I'm the loud one. It's nice to meet you."

| "I don't think I've ever had a painkiller," she said thoughtlessly as Kay's mind went though her time with her uncle. Even if she was sick, the disease would never last more than a couple of days and she was never given something for it. Then again, being reincarnation of the goddess Nike. She was probably immune to sickness.
"But thanks for your offer," Kay's eyes flickered over to him with a slight smile and a nod. She wasn't much of a talker and something about him told her he was a talkative one.
The sophomore shook her head, indicating he'd probably never seen her around. She usually was stuck in her room or was hidden in the Samaria tower where she spent some time with her dad.
"I'm Kaylin," she introduced quietly, "I guess I'm the opposite of loud."

| "You've never had a..." Theo trailed off, raising his eyebrows in disbelief. "I just... wow. I like live on painkillers. Oh my God. I just... you're obviously much better at pain management than I am." He grinned and folded his arms. He really should leave the poor girl alone to be honest, shouldn't he? There was a very big chance that she wouldn't want him to keep talking to her.
Oh well. He grinned as she introduced herself. "Pleased to meet you, Kaylin Opposite of Loud. Kaylin the Artist. I need to work on that a bit." He smiled again, softer this time. "You sure you okay? Do you want a hand with anything or something?"
