Open up the gateway - open

Pemberton was a nice change from how she used to live. The constant commands, the killing she did. Living her life the way she though vampires did - serving their creators until they gave them freedom was the lie he told her- she thought she had it great. Romona thought she was a lucky one- he didn't abuse her. Use her yes, but she didn't mind at first. She felt wanted, beautiful.

Lost in these thoughts, a breeze flitted by, stirring up a few dead leaves. Her blonde hair floated in front of her face, hiding some of her paleness. but her exposed pale shoulder told everyone that she was unnaturally pale. But of course- humans thought nothing of it.

Rose had only been at Pemberton a few days and was just itching to explore the place a bit more. So far she had only met a few people and as far as she knew they were only human.

It wasn't like she could exactly just come out and ask, from what she had heard it was very frowned upon. The last thing she would want to do is ask the wrong person and out everyone. She made her way up to the rooftop but paused as she saw someone else was already there.

"Oh I'm sorry." She muttered. " I didn't think that anyone else would be here." She gave a slight smile at the girl. "My name's Rose."

Ramona wasn't surprised when the girl appeared. She was also guarded- the girls blood smelled off. It made her gut scream at her, Attack! Run! And Ramona knew that it was her vampire speaking. This girl was an werewolf, or at least, an descendant.

She turned around and frowned slightly. "Rose, it's.. nice to meet you," Ramona greeted, her tone cold. "Is that your full name?" Ramona didn't want to give the werewolf her name. She wanted to figure out if Rose was o.k to even talk to. The vampire didn't want tot talk to anybody she didn't like.

"Well It's Rosalie, but I prefer Rose. Rose Argent," She replied shrugging. Something wasn't right with her. Somewhere in the back of her mind Rose could sense that the blonde girl in front of her wasn't human at all. This made her slightly uneasy, knowing that there was a chance that she could be dangerous.

"So, what caused you to come up here?" She asked keeping conversation. She took a slight step forward and smiled to let her know that she meant it in a friendly way. After all, this was the first creature she had met at the school. She didn't want anything to start on bad terms.

"Rosalie sounds very formal," Ramona commented warily, posture stiff. She saw the wariness on the werewolf's face too. She at least suspected it, or knew what Ramona was.

Ramona took a step back too, in a crouching stance. Her fangs showed themselves, while her eyes turned red. Ramona didn't even think about it- she just acted. This was her first werewolf encounter, the vampire didn't know what to expect. But she was ready to rip Rose's throat out if Rose took another step.

"What the hell!" Rose's eyes widened. Vampire. She mentally slapped herself for not realizing it earlier. She froze in place not knowing exactly what to do. Her inner wolf was trying to get her to attack, but her humanity inside her kept her firmly in place. She took a deep breath and tried to calm herself down.

"I don't want any trouble." She said with regained confidence. If she had to, she was sure that she could hold her own in a fight, or at least get away fast enough.

Ramona hissed at her when Rose spoke. She snarled as she shifted her feet, her vampire self wanting to attack. Show who is the Superior here, who is at the bottom of the food chain. "Don't move, dog," Ramona snarled, hands curled.

Romana's humanity whispered to act herself again, and believe Rosalie. After all, the werewolf didn't even attack her- just took a step forward. Her red eyes dimmed a little, but her fangs remained where they were. It took a few minutes for Ramona's humanity take control again. It was a good thing that Ramona fed yesterday.

"Never met a werewolf before," The vampire spat, her fangs still out. "So how am I supposed to know you are a threat or not?"
