Nightwing (Rhea and John)

Rhea kicked a small pebble out of her line of walking, it was a lonely, boring, hot day. Technically she should've been inside her dorm, doing homework, but when did she ever do homework? Who did homework, like ever?

The lake sparkled against the sun and she longed for a swim, but she didn't have her bathing suit with her and she wasn't even sure if it would be okay for her to take a swim. Weren't there rules about this kind of stuff?

At first she thought she was all alone, but there was someone sitting by the bank. With raised eyebrows Rhea made her way towards them. She was stupidly bored, might as well talk to the stranger. Beside judging from the back of his head he didn't look that bad. "What are you doing?" she asked, when she came close enough that she didn't have to yell. She'd always been stupidly curious, and forward.

Yet another dull day of studying. Another test, another book to read. Days like these John really questioned his choice of school. But then he remembered the lack of friends, socialization by all means, and laughed while picking up another heavy book. Or maybe the latest comic book, it all depended on how good he had studied.

At this particular day he sat with homework over his ears, but the killing heat made it hard to focus and he had moved his usual indoor study place to the beach. Bad, bad decision really. The sun shone even brighter here around, and the bugs were killing him. Not that he didn't like bugs. He just didn't like them crawling up his pants. Now the good thing about the beach was that it was empty on people. Weird for a day like this, but he didn't mind at all.

That was until a certain girl came up behind him, made him spill his mountain dew on his new bought batman comic book. He let out a high pitch almost girlish scream. ''W-What are you d-doing coming up on m-me like t-this?'' Turning his head John found himself glancing, no, staring upon a girl. No, not a girl, a model. His cheeks turned red.

"Just wanted to say hello! No reason to be so startled-Oh, you're reading," Rhea said, almost accusingly. "Oh my gosh. You're studying aren't you?" she eyed the big book in front of him, along with the now really wet comic book.

Aw, was he blushing? A grin spread over Rhea's face. She wasn't sure what he was blushing for, but she enjoyed it. He was cute enough for her to waste her time on, anyway.

She slipped out of her shoes, before looking at the boy again. "You don't mind do you?" she asked as she sat down, leveling her feet to be only inches away from the surface of the water. "That book must be a gazillion pages, what are you studying?"
