Meooooooooooow (Clea)

Claude groaned slightly as he stirred, a familiar pain in his head that indicated he'd probably drank a lot the night before and forgotten to drink water. You'd think as a water elemental he'd be better with those sorts of things, or just, you know, never get dehydrated. But apparently drinking a lot was to be punished, elemental or not.

Stirring, he wrapped his arms tighter around the body in front of him, smile tugging at his lips when he recognised the smell of the person. It felt like it had been a while since he woke up in the girl's dorms, specifically with Rhea. The fact that she wasn't being overly distant anymore and was here was nice. Even if the sex had been kind of spurred on by anger.

Thinking about it, it was really time for her to wake up. He didn't see her roommate, but he was sure she would be back soon, and they really needed to make the most of that time. Claude brushed her hair from her neck, beginning to place feathery kisses along the exposed skin, nipping lightly on her ear, whispering to her. "Wakey wakey, sunshine."

Something was tickling her. Moving a little, Rhea kept her eyes closed. God, was her head killing her. Too much alcohol. Too much fun. She just wanted to sleep a little longer, what was-Oh.

Ooooohh, she bit back a grin as she realized just what it was that was tickling her. "Is it morning yet?" she groaned, fumbling to try to pull the sheets over her head. Not that this was a bad way to be woken up, not at all, but surely it was way too early for anything. "Do you never get too tired?" she lost the battle of trying to keep her smile off her face and opened her eyes to give Claude a look. Not that she would ever really be too tired for more sex.

It was weird, though kind of familiar, to wake up in bed next to Claude again. Especially when she'd done such a good job of avoiding him for days now. She felt guilty, though she kept telling herself that she didn't have to feel guilty, but every time she looked at him now, she felt it in the pit of her stomach. Guilt.

"Yeah, it's morning," Claude answered, highly amused as she tried to pull the sheets over her head, though he really wasn't going to help her. He was far too busy enjoying how pretty she was. "Course I get tired. You know, every now and then. Just not now."

His smile widened as she turned to look at him, ignoring the look. "What? Do you not want me to wake you up? Should I just leave?" he suggested, while moving to get up, one leg off the bed, foot knocking into something.

What was that? He probably needed to move it if he wanted to stand up, it felt like it was going to make him trip over. Maybe if he just shoved it further under the bed, though he wasn't sure how Rhea would feel about him moving her stuff.

It didn't seem like it was morning, but then again the curtains were shut (thank God, she wasn't so sure if she could deal with light right now) and she was still tired from everything yesterday. It had been a bit of an intense evening. But fun. Definitely, definitely fun.

Rhea pouted, against her own will, when Claude started moving to leave her. "No-! You've already woken me up, so you're not allowed to-" she grabbed onto his arm. "-go anywhere." Maybe she shouldn't be encouraging him to stay. But it was early in the morning so she wasn't going to blame herself for her actions and if he did leave she was just going to ignore the fact that she didn't want him to.

"What have you done?" she accused when he stopped leaving, without her having to force him. "Please don't tell me you've broken something, because I don't want to have to commit murder in the morning, it's so messy." she smirked a little as she tried to pull him back again.

Claude chuckled slightly when Rhea grabbed his arm, though was far too distracted by the thing on the floor to really respond to it properly. He should probably be teasing her about it or something. Gotta remember that for later.

"I haven't broken anything," he reassured with an eyeroll. "Jeez, who do you think I am? There's just something on the floor," Claude explained before he pulled his arm from her grip, looking over the edge of the bed to find what almost tripped him.

What he found puzzled him a little. Or a lot.

"Rhea, what's this?" Claude picked the stick up off the floor, giving it a very confused look. "Is this some kind of walking stick?"

Rhea was growing a bit impatient and sat up in the bed, resisting the urge to pout some more when Claude managed to escape from her grip to investigate what he had supposedly not broken. It better not a pair of shoes that he'd ruined.

What was that? Oh. God. No. Was that-? No. Yes. Shit. Fuck. Calm. "Uhm, I don't know?" Come up with a lie Rhea Aphrodite, 'I don't know' does not work. "Looks like a stick, you can just leave it there or stuff it under the bed or something, it's nothing important." Fuck. That was the best thing she could say? Where were her lying abilities and why couldn't she come up with anything?!

This was the worst thing ever. How could she have forgotten to give that back? How could he have forgotten it in her room?! What kind of blind boy was he?

Claude raised a brow, smirk tugging at his lips. "You don't know what it is yet it's in your room? What, is it your roommate's or something?" though it didn't really look like something that Rhea's roommate would have. Which one was her roommate again? She was a girl, that much he knew.

"It's pretty neat," Claude mumbled, fiddling with it in his hands. He swore he recognised this. Where was it from? He frowned in concentration, trying to recall, ignoring Rhea for the most part. "I'll put it back in a second-wait! I know! Doesn't Oliver have one for walking with? It's for blind people!"

The moment of triumph was quickly replaced with a sinking feeling in the pit of his stomach, smile on his face slowly dropping as he turned to Rhea. "Why do you have this?"

"Maybe Kiva owns it, yeah." Rhea replied and tried to sound normal but she wasn't sure it was going well, actually this was a disaster. How could she have left that there? And how had the blind person walked out of her room without his cane? This is what happened when boys left while she was still asleep.

She watched Claude, a little nervously. Could he recognise it? It seemed he did and she swallowed the lump that had formed in her throat. This couldn't be good.

There was no use in lying, was there? Besides, Claude wouldn't really have a reason to care. Right. She could do this. "It don't know, it might be Oliver's... He must've forgotten it or something," she forced a shrug. "Just, just give it to me so I remember to return it," she avoided his eyes and held out her hand.

If Oliver had left it here, then why hadn't she realised that when he picked it up off the floor? And why had she been trying to brush it off as nothing or her roommates? Like it was something that he didn't want to know the answer to. What exactly made having Oliver in her room that terrible?

The sinking feeling got worse, feeling his fingers tense round the cane. He didn't give it back. "What was Oliver doing in your room, of all places? I didn't think you were that friendly."

The word 'friendly' had something inside of him churn in protest. He wanted to hear her explain to him what it was though. He refused to acknowledge the suggestion in the back of his mind. Not until he'd given her a chance to explain.

Rhea tried to study Claude's expression and body language, but it wasn't going very well. How on Earth was she going to salvage this situation? She knew she should've just gotten rid of that bloody stick when she first noticed it. But she'd been to awkward to go and see Oliver again.

Of all places? What was that supposed to mean? Oh, she was not friendly? Ouch. Actually, that was probably true, but said like that it just pissed her off. She crossed her arms (it wasn't like he was going to give her the cane anyway) and narrowed her eyes at him. Now for a nice calm helping reply- "What do you think we were doing here?" she snapped, unable to keep her voice calm.

This was definitely not going to end well.

What did he think they were doing? What did he think they were doing? Well, wasn't that an answer he never asked for. Claude didn't want to think about what they were doing.

"I don't know, why don't you tell me? After all, I certainly wasn't here, and I try not to think about what you get up to in your own time," he replied, hearing anger seep into his voice.

Claude shoved the stick towards Rhea, not looking at her as he got up, searching for his clothes and pulling them on, barely finished dressing as he headed towards the door. "I'm going back to my dorm."

Rhea decided it was best not to answer Claude's question, it was fairly obvious that he had got the message. And actually, if she thought about it, she felt a little bit like she was going to throw up, so keeping quiet was probably the best option.

He was angry. He'd been angry with her yesterday too but this time it was a lot different. Also he was being a bit rude, but she figured she'd better let that one slide.

She was still furious herself though (mostly at herself, not that she would admit that). I'm going back to my dorm. Rhea gritted her teeth, wrapping her hand around the stick, she was too proud to grovel or go after him. "Have fun with that."
