A beautiful day with a beautiful girl

Hikago woke up before the sun just as the sun was rising and smiled at Maeve's sleeping form. God how beautiful is she he thought in his love struck way before slipping off the bed. He made his way to the kitchen to make breakfast for the two of them. He decided he would try his hand at making eggs, bacon, and heart shaped pancakes. He started cooking and humming happily. "I hope she won't mind breakfast in bed."

Maeve tossed and turned on the couch bed before grumbling as she actually rolled off it. Her grumbling was replaced however with a smile as she sniffed a delicious aroma coming from the kitchen. She stood up and stretched slightly before making a slow pace towards the kitchen door. She opened the door slowly as to not make any noise and grinned at who she saw inside. "Hikago are you actually cooking?" she said, teasingly as she made her way to the counter.

Hikago blushed and stood in front of the pan. "Yea I am I was going to surprise you with breakfast in bed." He said smiling as he plated up the bacon and eggs and started the pancakes. "I haven't slept that well in awhile." He poured the glasses of milk before shaping the pancakes.

Maeve sniffed the air and grinned "Mmm it smells delicious" she said with a grin. She yawned slightly, stretching as she turned into her neko form. She slipped behind him as he was shaping the cupcakes and wrapped her arms round his waist, purring up at him "And it was nice of you to do that" she purred, her tail wrapping itself around his leg. "Now we can have breakfast in couch bed together"

Hikago smiled as his own tail slipped down around her leg and he purred at her being so close to him. "That was the idea." He put the pancakes on the plates and placed his arms on hers. "You know I won't be able to bring it in to you if you have your arms around me. Not that I mind." He spoke as he grabbed her hands holding them.

Maeve chuckled before unwrapping herself from him and leaned down slightly to poke his tail. "Shall we go now?" she said as she leaned back up and took hold of the other two plates and some cutlery.

Hikago nodded and carried two plates with his hands and wrapped his tail around the glasses of milk. "Yes we shall my dear." He said with a grin sure she wasn't his girlfriend yet but that wouldn't stop him from treating her like it in the safety of their home.

Mae grinned at him before making her way to the couch bed from last night. She placed the plates on the table across it and plopped down back on the couch bed, feeling a tad bit lazy. She propped herself up on one arm and grinned at Hik, spreading her arms open "Can I have cuddles?" she said with a pout

Hika smiled at her and set the plates he was carrying down by the others as well as the cups before climbing into the bed with her. "How could I say no to such a gorgeous girl?" He asked as he wrapped his arms around her waist and cuddled close to her. "I can't wait till you are my girlfriend" He said softly as he kissed the top of her head.

Maeve sighed in content as she cuddled closer, a heavenly smile on her face. "I wish I could see Aris now so we could break things up and we can finally be together" she grumbled out loud then blushed violently when she realized. She ducked her head to hide her face

Hika smiled and grabbed her gently so he could look into her eyes. The look in his was one of love and adoration of her. "I know you do." He pressed his lips to hers softly and began purring at the touch. "Until then we can still be lovey dovey here." His tail wrapped around her leg as he snuggled closer to her.

Mae was still blushing and she swore her heart skipped a beat as she looked into his eyes. Oh god... she was falling so hard and quick. She closed her eyes and kissed him back, mumbling "I love you" She grinned brightly when they pulled away and snuggled closer, her tail wrapping itself round his wrist. "Yep"

Hika started petting her tail and ran his free hand through her hair. "I love you so much Maeve." He whispered into her ear feeling as though the words were never going to be enough to show his feelings. His tail slipped up her leg onto her lap and poked at her stomach playfully. "I've never been this happy"

Mae had smiled at him as she reverted back to human form. "We should eat now before the food gets cold" she said as she reluctantly moved herself out of his embrace. She took a plate and started eating,

Hika swapped back to human as well and picked up his plate "Yea we can cuddle all we want but it will get cold if we wait." He said as he began to eat sitting next to her. "What would you like to do today when we're done?"

Maeve blinked and turned her head to the calendar "Well we should get ready for the ball right about now" she said only now realizing today was the ball. She actually chugged down her food and zoomed up to the shower "I call first!" she yelled then proceeded to shower quickly and do all the necessary stuff to make her look pretty before she went to her room, locking the door of course to change into her outfit.

Hika laughed downed his food and drink before darting after her. He ran into the shower after her and then to his room to get changed into his suit. "I can't wait to get there Maeve it's going to be so much fun!" He called to her from his room. "With any luck you will see Aris and he will be okay with you two breaking up." Once he had his suit on he walked out while fiddling with his tie.

Maeve was done with her dressing up and make up and went to the living room. "Yeah I hope he'll be okay with it" she said with a slight nervous tone to her voice. She finally made it to the living room and went to the mirror that hung there. She smiled at her red dress and adjusted her necklace.

Hika walked up behind her after getting his tie just right (outfit in the show your outfits thread) "With enough luck he will" He said as he wrapped his arms around her waist from behind and smiled at their reflection. "God you're beautiful" He looked at the door. "Shall we get going now?"

Mae leaned into his embrace and smiled at their reflections before nodding. "Yeah let's go" she said as she reluctantly pulled away from his embrace and wandered over to the couch to get her purse. She took his hand in hers and walked out the door, making sure to lock it too.
